Medway Gaming Festival Welcomes Film & TV Stars To The Historic Dockyard Chatham For The First Time

The highly anticipated Medway Gaming Festival returns to The Historic Dockyard Chatham for its much-awaited 4th annual edition on Father’s Day weekend, taking place on 15 and 16 June 2024.

This year promises an extra special treat for gaming enthusiasts as celebrity guests will grace the event for the first time ever. Celebrating The Historic Dockyard Chatham’s prestigious status as a prominent filming location, attendees can look forward to rubbing shoulders with a diverse range of talent including actors, motion capture artists, voice actors, stunt performers, and skilled creature artists.

JULIAN SEAGER

Julian is an award-winning actor born in Medway. He appears in Netflix hit show Vikings Valhalla as Jarl Gorm, Fisherman’s Friends and has recently had a lead role in the political horror movie Election Night.

MIKE QUINN

Known to many as Nien Nunb, the dependable co-pilot of Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars series. Mike Quinn is also known for his incredible work with Jim Henson’s The Muppets.

JOSH WICHARD

Josh is renowned for his remarkable performances, notably as the voice of Tav 1 in the game Baldur’s Gate 3. And his outstanding motion capture work. His talents have graced other gaming gems like Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and Final Fantasy. As well as surprising roles like mocap work for Barbie. Catch him at the event on both Saturday and Sunday.

SHELLEY BLOND

Shelley is best known in the gaming world as the original voice artist for Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, which then inspired all future iterations in film and gaming. She has also starred in film, TV, and West End stage shows.

CHRIS BUNN

Chris is another prolific background actor and body double. With a lifetime of roles in TV and film. From multiple James Bond and Superman movies, legendary war movies, popular TV shows and all three of the original Star Wars movies.

KENNY-LEE MBANEFO

Kenny-Lee is a musician, singer, songwriter, actor, dancer and model. Kenny trained at the BRIT School of Performing Arts. Along with his music career, he has enjoyed acting roles in TV, film, commercials and music videos.
